Processing time
Last updated: 3 January 2026
At Wearhaus, all items are handmade and/or made to order. Processing times are therefore an important part of how we operate. By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following Processing Time Terms & Conditions.
1. What Is Processing Time?
1.1 Processing time refers to the period required to prepare, create, quality-check, and package your order before it is handed over to the courier.
1.2 Processing time does not include shipping or courier delivery time.
2. Standard Processing Time
2.1 Our standard processing times are provided on our website and/or product listings as an estimate.
2.2 As all items are handmade and often made to order, processing times may vary depending on:
-
Order volume
-
Product type
-
Personalisation requirements
-
Fabric or material availability
2.3 Processing times are calculated in business days, excluding weekends and public holidays.
3. No Guaranteed Completion Dates
3.1 While we do our best to meet estimated processing times, completion dates are not guaranteed.
3.2 Wearhaus shall not be held liable for delays caused by:
-
High order volumes
-
Supplier delays
-
Equipment malfunction
-
Load shedding or power outages
-
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
4. Order Finality During Processing
4.1 Once an order has entered production, it cannot be changed, cancelled, or refunded.
4.2 Requests for changes due to urgency, events, or deadlines will not alter the original processing queue unless approved as a Rush Order.
5. Rush Orders & Processing Time
5.1 Clients requiring faster processing must request a Rush Order, which is subject to approval.
5.2 Approval is not guaranteed and depends on current workload and capacity.
5.3 Approved Rush Orders incur an additional fee and are governed by our Rush Order Terms & Conditions.
6. Communication & Updates
6.1 Processing time enquiries should be made only if your order has exceeded the estimated timeframe.
6.2 Frequent or repeated requests for updates will not speed up processing.
6.3 We reserve the right to prioritise production work over ongoing correspondence in order to meet deadlines fairly for all clients.
7. Dispatch & Courier Responsibility
7.1 Once your order has been completed and dispatched, responsibility for delivery timelines transfers to the courier.
7.2 Wearhaus is not responsible for courier delays, lost parcels, or delivery interruptions once the order has left our premises.
8. Acceptance of Processing Time Terms
By placing an order with Wearhaus, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Processing Time Terms & Conditions, in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.
